TIRAMISU



It has always been a favourite! Indulgence to the max. The combination of creamcheese and coffee is just fantastic!


Try it and you judge for yourself.


No alcohol and no eggs. So simple to prepare too!

Sponge Fingers


400gm sponge fingers
250gm mascarpone cheese (or creamcheese of your choice)

200gm whipped cream
7 tablespoons of castor/fine sugar
1 drop vanilla essence
1.5 cups of hot water
4 teaspoons of instant coffee (Nescafe)
cocoa powder/chocolate shavings

Mix coffee+water, put aside to cool.
Beat creamcheese, whipped cream and sugar till fluffy and firm. Add vanilla and beat awhile more.
Dip sponge fingers in coffee and arrange a layer in container of your choice.
Spoon creamcheese mix over and sprinkle cocoa powder.
Repeat till all used up.
Chill in fridge at least 4 hrs. Overnight will be best
