URBAN LEGEND CHOC CHIP COOKIES

Have you heard about the 'Urban Legend' Choc Chip Cookies. Words has it that a lady actually paid Neiman Marcus USD250 for this recipe and out of spite, she spread this recipe around to get back at the renown store. Click this link for more of this story. Not sure if this story is true though..... Anyway, I actually I tried this yesterday and verdict is YUMMYLICOUS! And it smells sooooo good! The boys loved it so much. It's not too sweet and has an interesting texture to it. I know of ladies who actually sell these. Try it and judge for yourself if it's really worth that amount the lady paid for. I left out the walnuts as my boys don't quite fancy any in their cookies and cakes. Big Thanks to allrecipee.com. Well, this is my version :)

1 cup castor sugar
1 cup soft brown sugar

120gm milk choc (grated) - I used semi-sweet choc bar.
1 1/2 cups walnuts (chopped)

Method:
- Cream butter and both sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well each time. Add vanilla.
- In another bowl mix flour, salt, baking powder, bic of soda and processed rolled oats.
- Fold flour mix into butter mixture.
- Add choc chips, grated milk choc and walnuts.

Place teaspoonfuls of cookie mixture on ungreased baking sheet, making sure they are spaced out as cookies expands. If you prefer huge cookies, by all means use a tablespon :))

Large cookies - about 110 pieces
Small cookies - plentiful for everyone to enjoy !!

Bake in preheated 190deg oven for about 10mins.

** You won't be able to resist having more than a piece...
