Simple Marbled Brownies

The urge to bake came this afternoon. So I decided to bake this today, for tea, seeing that I do have the ingredients in the pantry. Oh Happiness! It's a variation of the Brownies recipe I had posted much earlier, and this is just as scrumptious :)

MARBLED BROWNIES

1) Choco mix:
125gm butter
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
1 cup fine grain sugar
1/2 cup SR flour

Melt butter in a pan on low heat and add cocoa powder. Set aside to cool slightly.
In another bowl, whisk eggs till fluffy and add sugar.
Pour cocoa butter mix into egg and mix gently.
Sieve flour into mix and fold.
Prepare Cream cheese mix.

2) Cream cheese Mix:
180gm cream cheese
1 egg (beaten slightly)
1/3 cup fine sugar
1/4 cup SR flour
1/2 teaspn vanilla essence

Whisk cream cheese till light. Add beaten egg and sugar.
Sieve flour over cheese mix and fold gently.

3) Pour 2/3 of choco mix into the bottom of prepare 20cm square pan (greased and lined). Pour the cheese mix on this. Then put spoonfuls of remaining cocoa mix on the cheese layer. Use a knife or chopstick to make swirls of the batter in the pan.

4) Bake in a preheated oven of 180 deg cel for about 35-40mins. Let it rest in the pan for about 10 mins. Remove from pan and cut into squares while still warm. Makes 16 portions :)

**Didn't manage to let the Brownies rest...had to cut it as soon as it came out from the oven, heheee...half of it gone within 15 mins!
